More cars were driving around in circles than spaces in the lot. We were I a long line that moved slower than a snail. Each one of us hoped that the next space to open would be ours.

A few years ago, I went by another name for a couple of weeks, Juror Number One. It was a medical malpractice lawsuit, and I was fascinated by the jury selection process. The quality of their questions determined the mix of people who held the power. In my opinion, their questions were crappy.

The restaurant was beautiful. We walked through the grand room of the main restaurant and were escorted to the intimate dining area designed for romance. Between courses, we were encouraged to step outside on the terrace to enjoy the fresh air and the view. Magical.
